    I assume somebody somewhere is proffering the theory that Obama has obliterated Clinton's lead in the national polls because the victory handed to him by a bunch of corn-fed white mid-westerners finally put to rest the question of whether or not enough of America was ready enough, but then we'd have to ignore that the national gap was closed before the Iowa results came in.

    update: Maybe America isn't ready for someone who cries like a man. What the hell. Campaign coverage is sputtering, instant stupid and it's splattered everywhere. I'm going to go read a book.
