I would merely observe that Bush has routinely sold out social conservatives in the interests of his corporate shitbag buddies; general glutt makes an interesting case for it with this particular corporate shitbag. Niether party is going to raise any objections the guy being too anti-labor or pro-police state, of course. The DP is functionally incapable of being either anti-militarist or anti-corporate - it can rarely do more than harbor some harmless sentiments - so we'll watch, at best, another apparently marginal cultural battle written in a script of tea leaves and owl droppings, while the rather pathetic strata of lawyers we tend to elect to public office try to get a straight answer out of a slick shitbag.
