People more worth your time than I am:
or, recently added links:
Juan Cole's informed comment, guilty of the best tracking of the interim colonial administration in Iraq I've seen - I'm also in the middle of his text on late 1800s Egypt, Colonialism and Revolution in the Middle East: Social and Cultural Origins of Egypt's 'Urabi Movement. Found out he had an online journal from Cosma Shalizi, a Renaissance physicist I've been reading for years, since Bob McElrath - college buddy and serial slashdot poster - told me about a madman at the U of Wisconsin at Madison in the physics department who was publishing his notebooks online.
Just added: Jordan Barab's blog on workplace safety and labor issues, and conservative Bill Hobbes, who outside superfluous Instapunditesque mischaracterizations of anti-war arguments and a defense of Bush's chickenhawk record that misses the point, does a bangup job on digital freedoms.
Also, Salam Pax is back.
