If we lived in that particular land of makebelieve today we'd have declared victory and left a while ago.
I'm still stuck on statements regarding the UN that we were going to invade Iraq to enforce UNSC resolutions on Iraqi disarmament on the UN's behalf, so that it might not become a mere "debating society" - as though the UN was ever anything more than a debating society when it comes to security issues: yet we're still in violation of the UNSC resolutions on disarmament because we won't allow UN weapons inspectors back in, but this is apparently the sort of minor point only I would find ironic enough to tediously nitpick about. I'll never be famous.
