I like to believe the best, and take faith that the Women League of Voters would never have let this kind of razzle dazzle upstage our politicians' own stellar charisma.

Tasty! Now for real paranoia, Chris might consider the possibility that Senator Clinton arranged for this deliberately. She needs to win, but she needs to win by just barely enough. Otherwise constituent expectations may run too high. A squeaker of an election would be perfect. And things like this ensure a healthy degree of nearly crippling self-loathing in her supporters from the responsible and sensible progressive community.
