I leave the discovery of pots calling the kettles black as an exercise for the reader, suffice it to say that "a return to transparency" is a funny way of putting it. While I didn't follow either case particularly closely, my understanding is that the Clinton campaign could only really distinguish itself with the argument that they had better lawyers.
update: I've been put on notice that my google-fu is weak. Of course, the first link is the democrats defending the kettle as totally different from the pot, because some details were disclosed to the GAO, which makes it all so totally transparent. Yay.
