  This is a small pump device implanted in the lower abdominal cavity and
  connected to the suprarenal glands. When activated, the dormant pump
  concentrates and acts as a resevoir for the hormones adrenaline and
  noradrenaline. Under conditions of stress, such as combat, the pump
  kicks in, sending a concentrated adrenaline cocktail straight to the
  blood stream. This effectively doubles the attack rate of the cyborg.
