  One of the first implants designed for combat destined cyborgs was Skin
  Sheathing. Simply put, Skin Sheathing is the augmentation of the skin
  to provide modest protection to the cyborg with little control cost. It
  is formed of a specially developed polymer that is resilient to many
  types of damage while still remaining flexible. Skin Sheathing is a
  passive form of protection that can be installed on any external area
  of the body. Its effects are cumulative, so the more you have installed
  the better protected you are.
